Privacy Policy

1. Our Privacy Commitment

SRM Helper is a static website built for students. There are no user accounts, no login systems and no forms that store submitted data. Any tool input (GPA calculator, quick notes, attendance calculator) runs entirely in your browser and is never sent to any server.

Browsing the site does not require you to give us any personal data. The one exception is buying the paid crash revision pack: to deliver it we need an email address, which we receive from the payment provider. Section 5 explains exactly what that involves.

2. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool — on every page to understand aggregate visitor behaviour and improve the site. Plausible Analytics:

• Does not use cookies — no cookie consent banner is needed
• Does not collect personal data — no IP addresses are stored (they are anonymised before processing)
• Does not track across sites — no user profiles, no cross-device tracking, no fingerprinting
• Is hosted at click.pageview.click (a Plausible-compatible endpoint)

The homepage also loads Google Analytics 4 (property G-TN9XEZBDD5) to check how the landing page performs in search. Google Analytics is a third-party service operated by Google, it may set cookies or read device identifiers on that page, and Google processes the resulting data under its own privacy policy. It is not loaded on any other page of this site, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site profiling. You can block it with any content blocker, browser tracking protection, or Google's own opt-out add-on; the site works normally without it.

The data we can see in either tool is aggregate: page views, top pages, referral sources, countries and device types. We do not combine it with purchase data to identify individuals.

3. Cookies

SRM Helper sets no first-party cookies — not for preferences, not for logins, not for advertising. Plausible Analytics sets none. Google Analytics, loaded only on the homepage, is the one third-party script that may set cookies; blocking it changes nothing about how the site or the tools work.

4. Third-Party Services

• Plausible Analytics (click.pageview.click) — cookie-free aggregate analytics on every page
• Google Analytics 4 (Google) — homepage only, described in section 2
• Stripe — payment processing for purchases, described in section 5
• ZeptoMail (Zoho) — delivery of the purchase email described in section 5

We do not embed advertisements, tracking pixels or social widgets.

5. Purchases and Delivery Email

Buying the crash revision pack is optional; the free pages, tools and calculators stay free. When you buy:

• Payment is processed by Stripe through our payment hub at pay.yito.ai. Card details are entered on the provider's hosted page and are never sent to, stored on, or visible to our servers.
• We receive the email address you give at checkout, an order reference, and the order status (amount, currency, paid or not). We use them to send the pack, to answer support questions, and to handle refunds.
• We send one transactional email with a link to your pack, delivered through ZeptoMail. The link re-checks your order with the payment provider, so it only opens for the order it was issued for. We do not add you to a newsletter and we do not send marketing email.
• Retention: the order reference and payment status stay with the payment provider under their records policy. Your delivery email sits in our mail account so we can resend a pack or handle a refund; ask us any time and we will delete it.
• Refunds: contact us and we will refund through the same payment provider.

6. Data Sharing

We never sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. The only parties that handle data are the processors named above, and only for the purposes described: Stripe and our payment hub for the payment, ZeptoMail for the delivery email, Plausible and Google for analytics. Everything else on this site collects nothing to share.

7. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for university students aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell the paid pack to anyone under 18.

8. Data Security

SRM Helper is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served over HTTPS. Tools on this site (calculators, notes scratchpad, number converter) run locally in your browser using JavaScript, and no input is transmitted off-device. Card numbers never reach our servers, so there is no card data for us to lose. The only personal data we hold is the delivery email address described in section 5.

9. Your Rights

Under data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your personal data. If you never bought the pack, we hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to hand over. If you did buy it, email us and we will act on the order records we hold: deleting your delivery email address does not cancel a refund or accounting obligation tied to the payment provider's own records.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be announced via a notice on the homepage.
