SRM PYQ Hub

SRM previous year question papers by semester, subject and exam type.

All SEM papers, CT papers, model papers and important questions organised by subject and academic year. These are the single most valuable resource for SRM exam preparation — past papers reveal which topics repeat, how faculty set questions and what to expect in the exam hall.

PYQ categories

SRM exams follow a cycle: two cycle tests, model exams and end-semester exams. Each type has a different pattern and coverage. Use the right paper type for the right preparation stage.

SEM Papers

End-semester papers covering all 5 units. 3 hours, 100 marks. Best for understanding the full exam pattern, marking scheme and unit-wise weight distribution.

CT Papers

Cycle test papers for continuous assessment. Usually 50 marks covering 2-2.5 units. Good for predicting CT question patterns and short-answer formats.

Model Papers

Faculty-issued sample papers and practice sets. Mirror the actual exam pattern. Attempt them under timed conditions for best results.

Question Banks

Compiled lists of important questions per unit. 2-mark definitions, 5-mark short answers and 10-mark long questions with unit-wise organisation.

Important Questions

Crowd-sourced from seniors and faculty hints. Focus on topics that appeared in 3+ of the last 5 papers — these carry the highest probability of repetition.

Solved PYQs

Papers with answers contributed by seniors and toppers. Learn answer structure, diagram conventions and time management from worked examples.

PYQ subject coverage

These are the most-searched subject pages for SRM previous year question papers. Each page is organised with PYQs, unit notes, syllabus checklists and repeated topics.

How to use SRM PYQs effectively

1

Collect the last 5 SEM papers

Download the previous 5 end-semester papers for your subject. The pattern usually repeats every 2-3 years with minor variations.

2

Map unit-wise questions

Create a table listing each unit and mark which years asked what. Units with questions in 3+ papers are high-priority.

3

Learn answer templates for repeated topics

For topics that appear every year, memorise the standard answer structure: definition, diagram, explanation, example.

4

Attempt under timed conditions

Pick a recent paper, set a 3-hour timer and attempt it without notes. Then compare with the solved version.
