SRM SGPA calculator and grade predictor.
Use the SRMIST 10-point grading scale to estimate your SGPA. Add each subject with credits and expected grade. The calculator auto-computes your semester GPA. Use it to plan target grades, model backlog recovery or check placement eligibility cutoffs.
Calculate estimated SGPA
SRMIST grade points: O (Outstanding) = 10, A+ = 9, A = 8, B+ = 7, B = 6, C = 5, F/RA = 0. Add or remove course rows to match your semester subjects.

Understanding SRM GPA and CGPA
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average)
Calculated per semester: sum of (credits × grade points) divided by total credits. Each semester has its own SGPA.
CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average)
Weighted average of all SGPAs across completed semesters. Semesters with more total credits carry more weight in CGPA.
Credit-weighting matters
A 4-credit subject has twice the CGPA impact of a 2-credit subject. Prioritise O/A+ grades in high-credit subjects.
Placement CGPA cutoffs
Most companies filter at 7.5+ CGPA. Tier-1 companies (Microsoft, Google) typically require 8.5+. Track early.
